When your leader is out, how do you respond?
Do you take the day off, relax, and enjoy having a little less pressure? Do you decide that you finally get to do things your way and make changes to the process? Do you take the attitude “When the cat is away, the mice will play?”
Do you commit to stand taller, hold the line, and become more attentive to protecting the brand promise of the organization? Do you hold yourself to a higher standard? Do you make sure that everything runs as the leader would have wanted it done?
The choice is an important one. Don’t allow yourself to make it by accident.
Thanks for listening.
