Before Moses died, he reminded the nation of Israel about their history by retelling the narrative of their departure from Egypt and arrival at the Promised Land. The book of Deuteronomy contains his final messages prior to his death on Mount Nebo.
He ends with these words in chapter 32:
46 …“Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
As you read Scripture, do you see those verses as idle words…or can you embrace them as your life? Listen to God’s story of love for you, and allow it to fill your soul with oxygen.
Thanks for listening.
