I owe an apology to my friends Josh and Alex because they were recently working on separate projects and depending on me for help. I got frustrated when they each ran into roadblocks, and I felt they weren’t working hard enough to break through on their own. I helped, but not without adding to their tension levels (smile).
But then…I ran into my own roadblock. I got stuck on a project and couldn’t see the forest for the trees. Fortunately, Alex gave me a helpful tip that made the difference. Then, Josh implemented his new idea and gave the entire organization some fresh data that will give us new insights into our work.
Guys – Thank you!
The next time someone needs our help, it might be worth our while to respond by jumping in to make an investment. We never know when we will need the same in return!
Thanks for listening.
