This fall (2012), my wife Lisa and I enjoyed our first international trip to Italy to celebrate our upcoming 30th Anniversary. We had a fantastic, incredible adventure…and we can’t come close to sharing all the spectacular sights. In fact, I won’t even try.
But, we’ve had many who have asked us to provide more information on how the trip was put together. So, these pages have been added to share our trip insights and lessons learned for those who might like to borrow from what we’ve learned.
Step #1 was to go to the library and pick up a copy of the latest Fodor’s Travel book on Italy…or use their website. This helped us with the big idea and choosing where to focus our attention.
Step #2 was to ask our friend Luis to give us some travel tips. I’ve included his advice in these pages.
Step #3 was to ask Judy at BFF Travel to help us make reservations for flight and hotel. Her assistance and travel tips were invaluable…and she has helped us deal with a bad vendor after our return. I’m glad we didn’t try to do all this ourselves.
I hope you find this helpful.
