I could not help but notice when I was invited to this seminar entitled “How to Work for an Idiot”. I wonder how many people are signing up?
On a positive note, the author says this workshop is not about how to
- Complain about anyone we work with or for
- Unload negative baggage about our organization
- Find ammunition with which to attack others
But, have you noticed that it is easier to get people to sign up when you call their boss an idiot? Not as many people are interested in a seminar on how not to be an idiot.
If we spent as much time critiquing ourselves as we do critiquing others…we would become much more productive and pleasant to work with. Which side do you tend to fall towards?
Thanks for listening.
