Do you remember the project management triangle?
My friend Jimmy says it also applies to any sales situation. He told me “You pick two, and I get the other one. But you don’t get all three!”
My translation of that goes something like this:
- You want it high quality but inexpensive? I’ll take my time and work on your project when its convenient for me.
- You want it fast and high quality? It will cost you!
- You want it fast but aren’t willing to pay a premium? Then you’ll get what I give you…and you’ll have to make do with it.
Try to keep this in mind the next time you contact your supplier!
Thanks for listening.
