I recently wrote about a season where obstacles and setbacks caused me to question if God had forgotten about me. The lack of progress and risk of failure in my work led me to wonder aloud about His omnipresence.
Here’s the funny thing: no matter how winded I get when I exercise, I never question if there is enough oxygen in the air. I just keep trying to breath.
God is more dependable than the earth’s ecosystem. Questioning His presence is like second-guessing if photosynthesis has produced enough oxygen for me to survive. It’s a ridiculous thought.
The next time the thought passes through your brain…and you are tempted to question God’s presence in your life….just take a breath and remember: He’s more reliable than oxygen!
Thanks for listening.
