I have had the honor and privilege of knowing many men who served in the US Marine Corp. To a man, they carry themselves with honor, courage, and commitment in everything they do. Words can’t express the admiration I have for them and the tradition that they represent.
Recently, I heard this great affirmation of their strength and determination:
“Marines don’t die. They just go to hell and regroup.”
Funny…and descriptive of the kind of person I want to become. I try my best to live life – fully embracing the opportunity to give it everything I have to give. When it’s all over and my time is done, I hope to cross the finish line upside down and on fire…just like Clint Bowyer did at the Indianapolis 500 on December 28, 2007.
Thanks for listening.
