After a recent event where I taught about project management, two people sent me a Thank-You note.
One went to his computer and typed out a few sentences in an email about how grateful he was for my time, effort, and energy. He hit “send”.
Another went to his desk, pulled out a pen and stationary, and wrote a few sentences about how grateful he was for my time, effort, and energy. He then chased down my address and stamped the envelope and dropped it off at the US Post Office.
- Which one was most appreciated?
- Which one made the biggest impact?
- Which one now sits on my desk to remind me of the thoughtfulness of the sender?
Thanks for listening.
